Window cleaning

The main job, and the one we are known for. We use a reach and wash system: water is purified first, goes up a telescopic pole, lifts the dirt off the glass and then dries clear on its own because there is nothing left in it to dry. It works from the ground up to six floors, so there is no ladder against your brickwork, nobody at your first-floor window and no need to let anyone inside.

Abseiling window cleaning

Above six floors a pole will not reach, so we go on ropes. Rope access gets to high-level glass on the kind of Central London buildings where there is no room for a machine and nowhere to put one anyway. It is window cleaning only — we do not paint off a rope.

Cherry picker window cleaning

Where the ground will take a machine and the elevation suits it, a cherry picker is often the quickest and safest way up. We will tell you honestly which of the three methods your building wants, because the wrong one costs you time and gets you a worse finish.

Traditional window cleaning

Cloth, blade and a bucket. For shop fronts, ground-floor glass and anything at street level it is still the best tool there is, and it is what most people picture when they think of a window cleaner. Plenty of our work is exactly this, done well and done regularly.

Gutter clearance

Blocked gutters are how water gets into a building, and it is always cheaper to clear them than to deal with what happens when you do not. We use a gutter vacuum from ground level, which reaches up to five floors and means nothing is leaning against the building and nobody is up there who does not need to be.

Pressure jet washing

High-powered jet washing for the hard surfaces around a building — forecourts, paving, steps, brickwork and render. It is the job that makes the most obvious difference to how a building looks from the street, and it is usually the one that has been left the longest.

High-end painting, decorating and wallpapering, inside and out. This is the part of the business where the finish is everything, and it is the reason Dean talks about the finish before he talks about anything else. If you want it done properly rather than quickly, that is the work we take on.

Property maintenance

The jobs that are too small to get a specialist in for and too annoying to leave. Dean’s description is screwdrivers and drills, and that is about right — general maintenance, handled while we are on site doing something else, by people who are already there.
